Thermocouples from the decentralised I/O system PSSuniversal are used anywhere that a control system has a regulatory effect on temperature variables. Thermocouples are used to detect temperature in particularly demanding environments.
The input module PSSu E S 2AI TC can be used in combination with a base module with integrated cold junction compensation (modules have the identifier "-J") for precise temperature measurement at the measuring point.
