In the last voting cycle, a "New Work Item Proposal" for the real-time Ethernet SafetyNET p was agreed within the IEC standardisation committees. As a result of this positive vote, SafetyNET p standardisation will now be officially included in the process for the next edition of IEC 61158 and IEC 61784.
